Booth LLP successfully tried a case for its client, a large restaurant chain, defending a personal injury case brought by an elderly plaintiff who had been bumped by a server, causing her to fall. After two years of litigation primarily over the extent of the injuries caused by the fall, and multiple attempts at settlement, the plaintiff was awarded only 2% of what she requested from the jury and 7% of her final settlement demand.
