BOOTH LLP Chosen to Represent Citrus and Allied Essences in Diacetyl Litigation

As the result of a conflict of interest developed by its former counsel, Citrus and Allied Essences (“Citrus”) needed to find new counsel to represent it in a series of industrial exposure toxic tort matters pending in California. The cases have been initiated by several prominent plaintiffs’ personal injury firms, alleging that the plaintiffs have contracted lung disease as a result of inhalation of diacetyl (a butter flavoring ingredient) supplied to the plaintiffs’ employers by a variety of suppliers. After reviewing the qualifications of several firms, Citrus and its carriers selected Jason Booth and BOOTH LLP to take over Citrus’ defense. BOOTH LLP appreciates the opportunity and looks forward to helping Citrus navigate its way through the various litigation matters to successful resolution.
