HILLARY BOOTH SPEAKS AT THE TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS COUNCIL CONFERENCE

Hillary Arrow Booth participated in the “Law of the Land, Law of the Jungle” panel at the Transportation & Logistics Council’s 40th annual conference held in Nashville, Tennessee.  The panel of attorneys and business leaders discussed hot topics in the industry, including the vetting of motor carriers, federal preemption of state laws, freight charge collection issues, and contract provisions.  The conference was attended by national shippers and logistics providers.

BOOTH LLP CONTINUES TO EXPAND

We are pleased to announce that we have hired Megumi Horiuchi, a 10-year attorney experienced in construction defect litigation.  Our construction practice has grown with each success, thanks in part to Ted Kreps for his innovative approach to these cases.  Megumi brings extensive experience to Booth LLP, where she will handle complex, multi-party construction cases representing both general contractors and subcontractors in state courts and before the Office of Administrave Hearings.  Megumi graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2004, where she served as the Senior Note and Comment Editor of its International and Comparative Law Review, and the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
