TED KREPS SPEAKS AT THE WEST COAST CASUALTY CONFERENCE

Ted Kreps was a featured speaker at the May 2014 annual West Coast Casualty’s Construction Defect Seminar, where he provided information and advice in a presentation called “OAH Yes!! Making Public Works Contract Arbitration Work For You.”  Ted explained some of the differences between private arbitration and public works arbitration, and the strategy differences that can be used to benefit both general contractors and subcontractors.  In conjunction with the presentation, Ted prepared a paper explaining the process and the relevant code sections, OAH Yes!!! and a summary of Recent and Useful Cases Relating to PWCA Issues.

HILLARY BOOTH ELECTED OFFICER OF THE TRANSPORTATION LAWYERS ASSOCIATION

Hillary has been elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Transportation Lawyers Association.  The Association has over 1,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  Hillary was recognized for her contributions to the Association and looks forward to serving as an officer along with Marc S. Blubaugh, Dirk H. Beckwith, Richard A. Westley, Stephen B. Novy, and Frank C. Botta (pictured above).

BOOTH LLP ATTENDS THE TRANSPORTATION LAWYERS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Hillary Arrow Booth, and Ian and Cher Culver attended the Annual Conference of the Transportation Lawyers Association in St. Petersburg Florida in early May.  Hillary led a workshop on Litigation Practice and chaired the Motor Carrier Committee meeting.  Ian participated in workshops and seminars on issues relevant to the transportation industry.
