Professional Background and Accomplishments
Ms. Khararjian graduated from the University of Southern California in December of 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree in 2021 from California Western School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Khararjian gained valuable professional experience working as a paralegal and legal assistant for several Los Angeles area law firms.
Ms. Khararjian began her legal career as a secretary in an asbestos litigation firm, eventually rising to become a paralegal within the same firm, and gaining valuable training and experience reviewing and analyzing medical records, analyzing potential liability and damage issues, and working closely with expert witnesses, medical providers, and clients. She also has experience in intellectual property and entertainment law, having previously worked with attorneys in that firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation group. She has experience with privacy and data security issues, and has participated in the drafting of DMCA takedowns, DMCA counternotices, and Cease and Desist letters. Ms. Khararjian has experience with both state and federal litigation, including trial preparation.
While still early in her legal career, Ms. Khararjian advanced skill set and procedural expertise has already allowed her to serve as second chair in the successful defense of a three-week state court jury trial involving more than 470 plaintiffs, multiple defendants, 30+ witnesses, and complex electrical and fire investigation issues. While attending law school, Ms. Khararjian worked as an extern for New Media Rights, an independently funded non-profit program of California Western School of Law that provides legal services to creators, entrepreneurs, journalists, and internet users. At New Media Rights, Ms. Khararjian assisted on client projects to help ensure there were no copyright or trademark issues. She also gained experience in researching issues related to copyright, trademark, rights of publicity and online publishing. In her spare time, Ms. Khararjian enjoys Pilates classes, hiking to the Griffith Observatory and baking cupcakes.
