Professional Background and Accomplishments
Mr. Culver has been with BOOTH LLP since it was founded in 2012. He is an accomplished lawyer with success in handling litigation, transactional, and administrative matters for clients small and large doing business in a wide variety of industries. Among other things, Mr. Culver is experienced in handling complex freight claims, casualty claims involving commercial vehicles, employment disputes, business torts, and general liability defense. Mr. Culver has had success in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, administrative hearings, appeals, and complex law and motion matters.
Mr. Culver is an experienced trial lawyer, including wage and hour cases, and in obtaining a defense verdict for a trucking company and its driver in a wrongful death case involving an accident between a tractor-trailer and a bicyclist. He also obtains summary dispositions for his clients, often in complex cases involving multi-party indemnifications and seemingly conflicting laws and regulations.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Culver worked in television production, environmental advocacy, and publishing. During law school, Mr. Culver served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw, Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and as a legal extern for the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney in the Real Property Division.
Mr. Culver’s previous practice emphasized environmental, entertainment, and construction litigation.
