Mr. Greene is a seasoned and versatile litigator who represents clients in jury and court trials as well as mediations and arbitrations.
Mr. Greene focuses his practice primarily on construction defect litigation, representing general contractors, subcontractors in various construction industry trades including framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, and flooring, as well as related trades such as pool construction and landscaping. Additionally, he recently succeeded in an inverse condemnation case against the City of Los Angeles (reported in the Daily Journal) which resulted in the City agreeing to a cash settlement as well as construction of a $7.2 million storm drain system in Pacific Palisades.
Mr. Greene also regularly represents property owners and managers in premises liability, habitability, and general negligence actions. In employment law cases, Mr. Greene represents employers, including prevailing on demurrer against an employee by establishing he was not within any “protected class.”
Mr. Greene worked for over a decade in the entertainment industry prior to becoming a lawyer. He served as the U.S. sales and technical representative for a France-based motion picture manufacturer. During that time, Mr. Greene coordinated with NASA representatives to install their camera onboard a space shuttle mission. Mr. Greene later worked for a manufacturer of underwater motion picture camera and lighting systems. Thereafter, he worked for the manufacturer of 3-D cameras used by Oscar-winning film directors James Cameron, Ang Lee, Martin Scorsese, and others.
